Every month, Soul of Science is dedicated to celebrating excellence especially within marginalized communities including African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, Asians, women, and more. We believe that the students in these spotlights can be an inspiration to all of us and that their successes deserves to be recognized.   • Jalen Smith is an extremely bright and talented high school student with a promising future. Jalen attends the Academy of Engineering Ramsay IB High School where is soon to be an 11th grader come August. He has earned himself a super score of 32 on his ACT, setting himself up for success heading into his junior year. We wish him luck on his continued academic success!
